Monitor Audio Bronze 50 & Vestra 10
The Monitor Audio Bronze 50 7G is a bit of a refreshing change.
I was just expecting the same Bronze 50 6G proportions as I only reviewed that last year. That was a small, compact bookshelf, and I thought it sounded great for what it was and for its dimensions. This new one is noticeably larger, and it turns out that this new series has a 6” mid-bass driver, which, to me—in my limited experience reviewing speakers— I found to be the driver size sweet spot. A nice mid-range but also a deep enough bass.
The Bronze 50 retails for £500 / €600 / $849 per pair
Also included for this review was the Vestra 10. A compact, sealed 10" Subwoofer. The smallest from their new lower cost subwoofer range.
It retails for $899 USD.
