Melomania A100 Earbuds
I’m an unabashed Cambridge Fanboy.
I love their branding, I love their design, and I love the way they sound. And it helps that every so often a surprise arrives in the mail. This time in the form of the Cambridge Melomania A 100. These are the latest entry to the personal audio portfolio. Earbuds. These are the classic Stem Style designs. They retail for $149 Bucks USD.
These are available in black or white. Mine came in black.I prefer black for earbuds as white ones (for me) always get a touch grimy over time. Maybe I’m just a dirty boy. The case for these is matte and slim. The case has a Usb C port for charging, they supply a USB cable, but this also has wireless charging. I really need to hop on the wireless charging bandwagon. Also included are 3 earbud option sizes. On the front are 3 indicator lights for battery life. Battery life is: 11 hours on earbuds, 39 hrs total on the case. With noise cancelling on, it's around 6 hrs per bud. A 10-minute charge gets you 3 hrs of use.
It's Cambridge, so these are clean-looking and well-designed.
They aren’t the most upmarket, but Cambridge has definitely nailed their new branding and showcased its rollout on these earbuds very well.

Snapdragon sound
Uses the same app as the P100
Dynamic Eq
There is a 7-band EQ for further customization
plays and pauses if you take them out
Gaming mode
Mono mode if you wanted to share with a friend, but that is disgusting
IPX 5 water resistant, not waterproof, so don’t go swimming
The earbuds support a bunch of touch functionality to control them. Here is the supplied card with all of the functionality.
Of the functionality I use:
Tap the left one once to toggle transparency modes.
Tap the right earbud to stop and start audio.
Double-tap on the right bud to skip to the next song.
